Bora Bora
In 1722, the beautiful volcanic island of Bora Bora was discovered and is located northwest of Tahiti in the French Polynesian Islands and south of Hawaii. The island has a tropical climate ranging from 85 degrees in summer and 82 degrees in winter, although there is not much change in temperatures summer is apparently more humid and has more rainfall. The majority of the population are Maohi, Eastern Polynesians Chinese or French. The official languages are French and Tahitian, English is widely spoken because of the influx of tourists. According to (World Atlas 2016) there is no international airport in Bora Bora, travellers must go through the main French Polynesian airport at Papeete, on the island of Tahiti. Air Tahiti provides regular scheduled flights between Bora Bora and Papeete, as well as to several other French Polynesian islands. There is many attractions and activities varying from cruises, snorkelling, scuba diving, jeep safaris, aqua biking, parasailing and many more! I would love to travel to Bora Bora to soak up the rays of sunshine and explore the life under sea, I’m a huge fan of water based activities and I would love to learn the language of love (French).
